　　【摘要】：本文在分析了外觀設(shè)計專利文獻(xiàn)簡要說明部分的撰寫語言結(jié)構(gòu)、句式、用詞的變化，總結(jié)出各階段對應(yīng)的翻譯規(guī)律，歸納出一套適合于該領(lǐng)域文獻(xiàn)中對英翻譯的方法和技巧，可以提高該領(lǐng)域機器輔助或人工翻譯的速度和準(zhǔn)確率。

　　一、概述

　　外觀設(shè)計簡要說明（brief explanation）是用來對外觀設(shè)計產(chǎn)品的設(shè)計要點、省略視圖以及請求保護(hù)色彩等情況進(jìn)行扼要的描述。

　　示例 CN301221108SD

　　1.本外觀設(shè)計所涉及的產(chǎn)品是室內(nèi)墻壁用檢查口框。該產(chǎn)品的內(nèi)框和外框可裝卸自如地進(jìn)行嵌合，…“使用狀態(tài)橫剖參考圖”所示。2.本外觀設(shè)計的設(shè)計要點在于：…如“內(nèi)框與外框的分解參考圖”所示。3.本外觀設(shè)計所涉及的產(chǎn)品的使用方法：對布設(shè)在室內(nèi)墻里側(cè)的布管…布線等進(jìn)行維修檢查。

　　二、外觀設(shè)計專利常用視圖翻譯

　　2.1概述

　　專利法規(guī)定，申請人應(yīng)當(dāng)就每件外觀設(shè)計產(chǎn)品所需要保護(hù)的內(nèi)容提交有關(guān)視圖，清楚地顯示請求保護(hù)的對象。

　　本外觀設(shè)計產(chǎn)品的圖片中所示的復(fù)數(shù)顆A是為人造寶石。在本外觀設(shè)計產(chǎn)品的本體表面鑲嵌、粘接復(fù)數(shù)顆A，是為請求保護(hù)的本外觀設(shè)計的設(shè)計要點。
